BEHIND THE SCENES - how I prepared to shoot 14 high end videos in two 2 hour production slots

Show notes

Most entrepreneurs don't have a content creation problem.

They have a production problem.

In this behind-the-scenes episode, I take you inside the preparation process behind a series of high-end campaign assets I filmed in just two 2-hour production slots—including concepts like The Funeral, The Dead Body, The Proper Launch, and several other campaign pieces.

I share why most people waste hours creating content that never reaches its full potential, how pre-production became my biggest unfair advantage, and the exact framework I use to turn a few hours of filming into an entire campaign ecosystem.

We'll talk about producer thinking, campaign building, location scouting, storytelling, shot planning, and why the quality of your content is determined long before you ever hit record.

Because the goal isn't to create more content.

The goal is to create content that works together.

💋

You need to finally take your content seriously enough to think bigger than a single post.

00:00:00: I just came back from another to our shoot that we did in Lisbon and I want to have a little chat with you.

00:00:08: So today's training is not a regular training, even though nothing we do inside.

00:00:14: another content challenge is regular.

00:00:17: Nothing Rockstarz is regular.

00:00:20: it's also that this audio training or these audio are something different than the other audio trainings i published already in this challenge because Being in that shoot or during the suit I had a thought of not so many of you are thinking their content So, so small.

00:00:44: You know that already That i believe.

00:00:48: If more women would unleash their creativity if more Women wouldn't think they're content bigger?

00:01:02: where people get in touch with your brand, With your genius.

00:01:05: With you work and if more women would actually create the way they are designed to do You will make so much money!

00:01:16: You would Make a massive amount of More Money If you would unleash yourself And put on your producer lens all The time not only right after listening To my audio training Where I told you about the producer lens But all the time, no excuses.

00:01:35: Walking through life walking for your business with The Producer's Lens because what we did in these two shoots while were in Lisbon I didn't plan to do a shoot at Lisbon At All!

00:01:47: I planned To Do This While Im In London After the production day with my amazing mastermind clients where we rented an entire photo studio, well.

00:01:57: We have all of our vision boards already finalized and will create so many great things!

00:02:03: And I'm so obsessed about it before we even created them because pre-production is the main thing The thought process beforehand.

00:02:14: And this is also what I want to take you with me today inside of the audio, because i prepared for these two hour shoots.

00:02:23: It was two-two hours shoot within a few days.

00:02:28: How long does it takes sometimes?

00:02:31: To create single carousel post?

00:02:33: how long doesn't take you some time to come up great ideas to record talking head to edit a video, because you don't actually know what to create.

00:02:48: You may be aware of it but never define how it should land!

00:02:54: And this is what I do at first place all the time when it comes my own productions when it comes to client productions.

00:03:03: For example, for a client we have an full on-site production day in LA in May where they rented the entire villa which represents her brand so well!

00:03:15: The team spent hours and hours researching the right location because what you then can create there is beyond this world... everything.

00:03:29: And then also I know since weeks what we're gonna create there, i have the entire scripts for every short film For The Trailer ,I Know Exactly Which B-Roll Food That We Want To Capture .

00:03:42: I Know Every Single Shot, Every Single Angle.

00:03:45: This Is Why On A Single Day We Can Produce Not Only Much But High End In A Quality that is Unmatched not only because of camera quality, but the entire storyline and what we produce there will do for this client.

00:04:14: She's already doing great!

00:04:16: But by creating this entire campaign around from which the production day itself It's only one third of all the things that happen when I work on campaigns with my clients What we do there is designed to make people fall in love if her signature offer The moment they see it and not only a way off.

00:04:36: Oh, This Is great but In A Way Of oh wow i'm obsessed i need To get.

00:04:44: How do I get in there?

00:04:46: And the base for exactly that always lies in pre-production because i focus so much on details.

00:04:54: On every single detail, what we want to do and how you wanna do it.

00:04:59: but then on production day itself everything comes together like this.

00:05:04: This is also why im sitting right now infront of my freeform document where the entire pre-production I made for these two to our shoots in Lisbon where we created a total of fourteen videos.

00:05:22: In four hours Fourteen videos, which are not just videos in terms of oh she's walking down the street.

00:05:31: We additionally to these fourteen videos captured photo sets Which is designed for offer brandings?

00:05:39: I know exactly how i want them look like.

00:05:42: Additionally we capture b-roll In slow motion, regular motions have everything.

00:05:49: So what most people do on a brand shoot day is what we capture on the side, because this how good we are in what we do.

00:05:57: This is how good my team and preparation for our entire day or two hours is!

00:06:04: We know everything that you want to capture.

00:06:08: so additionally... To B-roll, slow mo videos, photo sets… We have created fourteen videos which then aren't just random where you do something, but they are different.

00:06:23: They together create an entire campaign.

00:06:27: so we have some which is made with less effort.

00:06:30: it's something like a voiceover from an audio I found on Instagram Which can be used.

00:06:36: then there are things that are more like an effect or something while we cut perfectly.

00:06:42: So its something in the background when i put a great hook.

00:06:47: Then we have one video where I'm dancing.

00:06:50: So, we bring in a whole different vibe into the Rocks universe which i am so excited about Which is also why We needed to be there at The exact location Where we shoot early In the morning!

00:07:05: twice this week at five thirty to capture all these things.

00:07:08: but it was so, so worth it.

00:07:11: And additionally to the more or less less effort videos we also created for production style videos which is one more-or-less a talking hat style Which uses different angles has great effects in and its called The Edge.

00:07:29: Then we have a production called The Creative Director, which is one of my favorites where it's more or less like interacting with the camera.

00:07:38: Something you've never seen before.

00:07:39: I just had this thing playing inside my head and i couldn't get rid of it!

00:07:43: And therefore...I needed to do that.

00:07:50: I think it's my most favorite production from these two-to-hour shoots because i love it.

00:07:57: It's like more a acting style, its short film with clear message than ramping up to the new signature offer which is in an early state right now!

00:08:09: Its gonna be THE MOST AMAZING OFFER I'VE EVER CREATED AND WHEN YOU KNOW THIS SUMMER I WANT TO BLOW UP.

00:08:17: I want to unleash my creative genius.

00:08:24: That are not something that just works in terms of, oh I'm running a low ticket challenge.

00:08:51: which then have a massive effect and want to become the talk of the town during summer, than this new space is for you.

00:08:59: And as I already mentioned it's in an early state but you definitely should keep your eyes and ears open because soon as it drops inside this challenge maybe within few days or weeks You want to be fast, a secure spot because it's limited.

00:09:22: It is the most amazing space I've ever created.

00:09:25: if i would have been able to join something like that two years ago!

00:09:30: Then it wouldn't take me five years to make two millions in cash received...I'd done this way faster.

00:09:39: So the other production we created, so we have The Edge, The Creative Director, The Wall and The Escape.

00:09:50: productions, we created during these in total four hours.

00:09:54: And how was I able to create these things like for bigger productions which have a clear storyline different angles?

00:10:02: Which has more way one person involved acting pieces that are on the same level as The Dead Body, The Funeral, The Breakup or The Proper Launch.

00:10:13: i can link them under this audio if you haven't seen what I mean when i say production, so we create four of these and then ten additional videos which are also part of this entire campaign.

00:10:30: How did we manage to do this in just four hours?

00:10:34: Because I don't only have those fourteen videos now Not only B-roll videos, which then also become reels.

00:10:43: not Only photos Which then will build the author branding.

00:10:48: I have The entire campaign which consists of all of this All Of This Working Together!

00:10:54: The Outfit, the Storylines, the Angles Everything Creates This Entire Campaign Supports This Entires Campaign, Supports The Message Of The Campaign.

00:11:05: So the first thing I did was to decide what do i want to capture.

00:11:09: I have one big theme which is also the name of this entire document, which is Devil Wears Prada because time when I will publish this new signature offer it doesn't have to do anything with Devil Wear Prada...I already had a name and the name is nothing that goes into that direction!

00:11:27: It's nothing with fashion ,it's nothing.

00:11:31: It will drop during a time when the devil was Prada comes into the theaters, which means this would be big topic.

00:11:42: Then also Roxas vibe, Mai Vibe definitely gives Miranda priestly vibes So this is also something I want to use.

00:11:53: so i have like the overtopic which then gives the vibe, Which doesn't mean that we reproduce things from the devil wise product because This Is The Exact Thing People Will Do Within Next Weeks.

00:12:07: But!

00:12:08: I play with elements...I Play With Certain Elements That Then Have A Recognition Factor and also supports the entire brand, because Miranda Priestly & Rox they are like connected.

00:12:20: It's not the same but people get it!

00:12:23: People get it.

00:12:24: Rox is like Miranda Priestley.

00:12:26: We will have a look or we'll have to look on the industry in certain way.

00:12:31: I call out bullshit.

00:12:33: i'm not for mediocracy.

00:12:35: If you want to be average if you wanna be standard... ...if you wanted do everything like anyone else Or everybody else.

00:12:42: I'M NOT YOUR Creative director.

00:12:45: I'm not, i am just not.

00:12:47: You don't hire me to stay the same.

00:12:49: you Don't hire Me To have a normal life.

00:12:52: you don't Hire me to make A normal amount of money.

00:12:55: so if you want to Stay Normal Aversion Standard Roxas Not for you.

00:13:00: So this is exactly The vibe I wanted to bring in and also did saw first?

00:13:05: I had the fee.

00:13:07: then We are still In the pre-production.

00:13:11: Then I decided what is it, What i want to create.

00:13:15: It's my jam To create productions like The wall the dead body the breakup.

00:13:20: this Is how My brain works?

00:13:22: My brain Works in movies!

00:13:24: My Brain works and trailers...I love to Create all these things.

00:13:27: so These are the Things I decide first about.

00:13:30: then I will go into.

00:13:32: What Will support these Trainers Like.

00:13:35: what Are things that are less Effort than a shorter That are more made for social media?

00:13:40: because they feed the dopamine monster because they work with the algorithm, because they are short.

00:13:45: They are fast!

00:13:47: They are quote-unquote trend not because it's trend and everyone else is doing it but we're using things that are trend in some amounts so that people have also there the recognition effect.

00:14:00: They recognize it, they remember it and therefore its more likely for them to then stop and watch.

00:14:06: So this is something we use here as well.

00:14:09: This second thing I decide on What's the additional less effort most social media think?

00:14:15: I want to integrate or use additionally And when i've decided everything will be captured I decide for the location.

00:14:24: So what i did in that last couple of days when it was on my morning walk, I went through Lisbon and then we had a look where do you want to shoot?

00:14:33: so oftentimes My team does or Flow does It.

00:14:37: sometimes I myself Do it!

00:14:39: And We're just swirling around The city and have always our eyes wide open.

00:14:44: Where are the perfect spots?

00:14:45: so Then I take photos Of these spots So that then I know these are the exact spots we could potentially shoot and Then, We can go through The entire folder And decide what will be the final locations.

00:14:58: We Will use.

00:14:59: so when we now have location?

00:15:01: We Have the videos.

00:15:02: What is the thing you want to capture at?

00:15:04: then When i know the location how does it look like we Decide for the time?

00:15:09: so which Time of the day we're gonna shoot?

00:15:12: when Is the best light?

00:15:13: do we need people Or do we need empty space?

00:15:17: Because for some productions it is great when you have people in the background.

00:15:21: When,

00:15:22: e.g.,

00:15:22: I want to produce something where its more like all eyes on me or i'm at a center of attraction then If you want to create something where it's more like about the building or this space, Or the storyline.

00:15:37: Where you have something with acting parts You want a good audio then you'll want less people.

00:15:44: This is what we decided for Lisbon.

00:15:45: We wanted as few people as possible Which meant getting up early before everyone else was awake The minute both times or both to our slots.

00:15:59: We've been at the location where we wanted to shoot, The moment the sun went up Or the moment there was light So when it was still dark To then catch first light and start.

00:16:15: And because of that Because we want much space As less people as possible We were tight on time So we needed to be fast.

00:16:26: Therefore, the next thing I did in my preparation and pre-production was decide which outfit for which video then also In which order i would use the outfits so that I wouldn't need to change too often because Also That costs time And Then also For which video?

00:16:48: We do need the most space.

00:16:49: So, Which other videos for which it is also okay if someone's in a background or where we don't need like the space on the back ground Where you could use wall so that its ok when there are more people we should last.

00:17:08: So then going into like the right order, the right video at the right time and the right outfit before we even headed to the location And knowing all of these things makes it possible To create high-end fast... ...and also in a way that then creates an entire campaign!

00:17:30: When you now imagine that photo B-roll video and fourteen videos which are made ready to post inside post production, but the idea is there.

00:17:43: The storyline is there.

00:17:45: It's nothing too.

00:17:46: think about it just implementation.

00:17:48: Fourteen videos in just four hours In high quality.

00:17:53: its insane.

00:17:55: And this what actually happens?

00:17:57: as soon As you hire me as your creative director?

00:18:01: as you start to think through your producer's lens.

00:18:06: As soon, as you double down on pre-production and the most important part of them all... ...as soon as you allow yourself to think your content bigger than ever before.

00:18:17: Because nothing what we created there is standard Nothing is average Everything has its own twist.

00:18:25: Even if I use something a mechanism that it used often so people remembered they recognize It got rocked so that it is massively on-brand.

00:18:36: The main thing I want you to take away from these little insights, which is not a reel behind the scenes but a little inside conversation we needed to have Is That I Want You To Take Your Content Your Brands Your Marketing Your Business And Yourself.

00:18:57: Finally Serious Sitting There and Asking Yourself What to post today is bullshit.

00:19:04: It's bullshit!

00:19:05: Start creating like the legend you are, start thinking your marketing ,your offers and brand or business much bigger than currently.
