I figured out why surface level attraction content never worked for me & what I do instead.
Show notes
For years, Ramona believed she had one major weakness.
She was great at creating content that converted—but terrible at creating content that attracted new people.
The classic advice never seemed to fit.
Create broader content. Be more surface-level. Appeal to everyone. Feed the algorithm.
The problem?
It worked for other people—but it never worked for the way her brain works.
In this episode, Ramona shares the realization that completely changed how she approaches marketing, launches and brand building.
Instead of separating attraction content from conversion content, she explains why every piece of content can do both—when it's built around a cinematic storyline instead of isolated marketing tactics.
If you've ever felt like traditional content advice makes you create content that doesn't feel like you, this episode will completely change the way you think about growing your audience.
Inside this episode:
- Why attraction content never worked for Ramona
- The hidden problem with "wide-net" content
- Why highly intelligent founders struggle with traditional content advice
- The difference between feeding the algorithm and building a world
- What Hollywood understands that the coaching industry doesn't
- How storylines attract and convert at the same time
- Why emotional memory beats surface-level visibility
- The framework that helped generate a second million in just 14 months

00:00:00: This episode might become one of the most personal I've ever recorded, not because i share something private but I'm extremely good at coercion content, but...I suck at attraction content.
00:00:15: So the moment that i want to get in front of new eyeballs The moment when i wanna create content which is something like five tips how-to or it's something where its like ooh this is broad!
00:00:26: This is wide
00:00:27: net!!
00:00:27: This is something people who don't know me yet are attracted into a way of.
00:00:32: oh wow she just likes
00:00:35: me!!!
00:00:37: This is not how my brain works.
00:00:39: The moment you tell me go surface level, the moment You Tell Me Go Broad ,the Moment YOU TELL ME SHELLOW IS THE WAY TO GO My brain stops raining because I am a woman of depth and this Is exactly the reason why i'm so obsessed with building cinematic worlds Because we both know getting in front Of new eyeballs is important.
00:01:05: It is important that new people see you.
00:01:07: Of course, one of the most profitable things you can do is to sell through your existing clients.
00:01:13: having clients who are loyal increasing your client loyalty Having People sign again and Again And Again.
00:01:20: Of Course this Is Something That Works Perfectly Well.
00:01:23: This Is something You Definitely Should Have In Your Business When You Are Listening To The Kaldstatus Podcast that you know how to create an audience, a community.
00:01:33: That You Know How To Build Relationship With People That YOU Are In A State Where You Can Drop Anything You Want And People Just Buy.
00:01:43: Your Hotest Audience Just Buys.
00:01:47: So I Don't Have To Tell You How Important That Is Because Currently your entire business is running on exactly THAT The same amount of people.
00:01:57: the few names you KNOW buy everything you offer.
00:02:01: They take part in every single conversion event, they are inside your mastermind and they buy private packages every now-and then.
00:02:11: those people who are like your ride and dice these people currently keeping your business alive.
00:02:18: And while that is great because you need this hot audience it's amazing to be able to drop anything.
00:02:29: We need another leg in your business.
00:02:53: but the way of doing it with wide-knit content, with attraction content where something that is surface level enough so detracts many people.
00:03:02: It's nothing that works for a woman whose brain thrives on depth because if you're anything like me then I can give an offer and tell who this is for And You create a hyper specific content piece.
00:03:19: You know exactly how to move people that are already listening to you.
00:03:23: You know, Exactly How To Address The Current State!
00:03:25: You Know Exactly How Draw The Vision!
00:03:28: You know EXACTLY HOW TO ACTIVATE
00:03:30: THEM!!
00:03:30: But if I would tell YOU because you KNOW THAT IT MAKES LOGICAL SENSE FOR YOU IF I WOULD TELL YOU OKAY AND ADDITIONAL TO THOSE CONTENT PIECES NOW ADD IN THINGS THAT ARE MORE SURFACE LEVEL THAT ARE More Broad That Are More White You GET
00:03:46: IT!!!
00:03:47: You get what I'm saying.
00:03:49: and at the same time, it's not the way your brain works.
00:03:55: You will sit there And think about okay What is broad enough?
00:04:01: Is this...the idea that just came up with..is This white net?
00:04:05: Is this something that attracts people?
00:04:07: is it something that attract right-people.
00:04:10: If there's a content piece, then people would share because I know the algorithm lost when people shared things!
00:04:15: if they send to their friend or business bestie what i attracted completely different people.
00:04:31: Because you know so much about strategy, You've done many things.
00:04:37: You have so much experience.
00:04:40: Your brain knows all these things Which is the reason why getting in front of new eyeballs for YOU works differently.
00:04:50: I don't say that white net content, attraction content or broad content doesn't work.
00:04:57: It does.
00:04:58: You see accounts out there that do mainly surface-level content, and it works so well for them!
00:05:05: They use this as top of funnel content to bring people into their DMs or the funnels —and I'm sure you've dissected accounts like these.
00:05:16: And when they say, oh, it should be easy….
00:05:21: what is the thing i need in order?
00:05:24: Because you understand it, You get it because your so smart.
00:05:28: And at the same time that you are so smart That you're intelligent and deep into your topic.
00:05:36: Prevents from surface level content.
00:05:39: I don't say Conversion content versus attraction content Deep content versus Surface-level content.
00:05:46: One is better than other Both great.
00:05:49: We need more or less both.
00:05:51: Every single of these formats fulfills another purpose.
00:05:55: But the way attraction content, wide-knit content and broad content was taught for so long doesn't work with women like
00:06:03: us.".
00:06:04: And at that moment I realized it had no solution to this.
00:06:09: I knew all of my time spent creating or trying to create surface level content Was not wasted time.
00:06:18: I wouldn't go that far, but it was a time where i tried to do something That doesn't suit the way my brain works!
00:06:30: the point that it is important.
00:06:32: I got to a point where... It works for other people, but i never came up with an idea of what was working on me!
00:06:41: Of course there were some shots in which you could say like, oh i just said one hit one let's work at once time, But i wasn't able to replicate and do this again.. And i never understood why until I realized that this is not the kind of way or how i want to attract new people.
00:07:01: And it was sitting there and thinking about, There must be another way!
00:07:13: There must be a way to get in front of new eyeballs that doesn't feel boring and shallow.
00:07:21: Because even when I hit those things, like these one-hit wonders—things were working!
00:07:26: Like attraction content, white net…I got so bored in recreating it.
00:07:37: It's just not what I want, it's just how my brain works.
00:07:42: And therefore i was thinking about there needs to be a way that doesn't feel boring and shallow but still gets me myself ,my brand My content in front of new eyeballs but in front of the right eyeballs.
00:07:59: because my work is high-end.
00:08:02: I sell to premium clients, i sell at premium price tags and therefore it was not about selling a eleven dollar offer for low-ticket offers.
00:08:20: Which is a way, which is a solid and valid way but not my way!
00:08:25: I am premium high end.
00:08:26: i love to work in high proximity with clients.
00:08:30: .I create those cinematic launch campaigns with seven figure leaders.
00:08:34: ,i go knee deep into their brands !
00:08:36: I'm on set on site with them we create high end productions or when do it online.
00:08:45: so deep into the brand, I dissect everything.
00:08:48: And this is what i actually thrive on and This Is also What my point of course?
00:08:52: What My marketing needed to reflect.
00:08:54: So I wanted To get in front Of new eyeballs In a way that doesn't feel boring and shallow and That Actually suits The Way I think How my brain Works how I work and Represents what I envision for my brand.
00:09:11: moving forward Because when I look at the recent advice that we see, When it comes to attracting new people.
00:09:20: I've never seen myself doing that for years on one hand and then On other hands It also Never had a level i see my brand add right now And going into future because most personal brands still feel like I'm doing something on the internet.
00:09:43: It's a media company.
00:09:45: I'm invited on stages, which is already true!
00:10:00: This is a ROX created launch campaign because it's the set-assembly.
00:10:05: When people know that you are launching based on my concepts, when they know your campaign was built by ROX and with ROX then they know this must be bad as woman!
00:10:20: And even if I haven't seen her before...I know THIS IS GREAT!
00:10:26: Because ROX only works for best people.
00:10:29: And with that in mind, creating content which is all the time.
00:10:33: five tips for.
00:10:35: Which is ALL THE TIME!
00:10:36: This what I did when i was eighteen.
00:10:39: We can do this from time to time but only doing things like THAT Doesn't fit that.
00:10:45: It doesn't fit the level it doesn't fits the vibe and therefore...I was thinking about What else could I do?
00:10:52: Then it hit me and then you had a thought as well many times.
00:10:59: I don't have to play the game of any industry.
00:11:24: who's building a production house alongside with Building and leading A Creative Direction brand.
00:11:31: I know no one, Who has the experience?
00:11:34: I have!
00:11:35: I know No One... who Has made two million in cash received In her coaching business inside an industry before she went into creative direction?
00:11:47: I know no one who has the production house, like in-house.
00:11:51: i have my videographer all the time with me!
00:11:55: I don't have to rely on other people.
00:11:58: we have our videographer inside the company...I know NO ONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE IN COSMETIC COMPANIES IN A CORPORATE WORLD WHERE IT'S ABOUT ALL THE THINGS THAT THIS INDUSTRY WAS MISSING SO SO MUCH So.
00:12:13: since I started I was always building a category of my own.
00:12:19: And still, when it came to getting in front new eyeballs there were still the advice that i heard from inside my head as you potentially do now or probably do know.
00:12:32: So I realized, i can just take the best from all worlds because l love coaching industry but also a lot of film industry.
00:12:40: I love corporate world and things that are experienced there as well.
00:12:44: so it is possible for me to take things from them too And build my own!
00:12:53: My own industry?
00:12:55: My own
00:12:56: world?!
00:12:57: MY OWN
00:12:58: WAY!!
00:12:59: to get in front of new eyeballs.
00:13:01: So what I love about the coaching industry, for example is how good messaging is in there.
00:13:07: There's no other industry In this world that is as good at selling than The Coaching Industry.
00:13:18: You have people making millions who reach not even hundred People per day which Is insane compared To Other Industries.
00:13:29: You don't have any other industry that focus so much on hyper-specific messaging, but the coaching industry became better in selling and spreading a marketing message than some of the biggest marketing agencies out there.
00:13:46: So this is what I take from The Coaching Industry.
00:13:49: And then There are Other Industries.
00:13:51: When you think about Hollywood Celebrity Level Film Industry Netflix Movies, series.
00:14:01: They do something better than anyone else.
00:14:04: It's telling stories.
00:14:07: it's building worlds you want to be part of Because the moment people fall in love with this story line The moment they fall in Love With the characters the Moment they want To live inside that world That was built.
00:14:23: I don't know which are your favorite series, but if you watch Desperate Housewives what would it be like to live in Vestera Lane?
00:14:33: To buy a house there.
00:14:35: If you watched Girl More Girls What Would It Be Like To Go Into Luke's Cafe Just Once And Order A Cup of Coffee?
00:14:43: If You Watched Money Haste?
00:14:45: What Would Feel Like To Once Talk The Professor If you watched Harry Potter and grew up with it?
00:14:52: like me, I don't read fantasy stuff.
00:14:56: But in first grade i started to read the Harry Potter books And I loved that world!
00:15:03: What would feel for you?
00:15:05: Sitting at a great hall and having your speaking head on your head Tearing its cream Gryffindor?
00:15:13: Do You Feel Like The Examples I Just Gave You?
00:15:16: Do you feel the differences in how it feels?
00:15:19: How different the world feels.
00:15:31: And this is what Hollywood Netflix production companies, directors do better than anyone else telling stories, building worlds you want to become part of.
00:15:44: They became a part your daily life.
00:15:46: they evoke emotions and what happens when emotions are evoked?
00:15:54: Memories are built.
00:15:56: And this is exactly we need for attraction content because it's not only about them seeing you once or twice if you get in front new eyeballs.
00:16:09: You want to hook people on the story, not in your content piece.
00:16:14: On this story you want to evoke emotion because when you evoke emotions they will remember you and When They Remember You The first second and third contact I have with Your Brand Becomes Much More Valuable Because The Probability That They Then Come Back To You that They then Become Your Clients Is Much Higher then compared when you would just create wide-net broad surface level content that feeds the algorithm.
00:16:47: And while I was thinking about all of these things, i realized that every single offer has a story.
00:16:54: Every single offer you come up with Has its own story.
00:17:00: Your brand HAS A STORY.
00:17:03: So if we take what movie series Netflix and so on do perfectly well and combine it with your offer.
00:17:13: With the story, you're offered tells And we would add that to your marketing into your launches then You will start activating The right people at the right time independent if its quote-unquote old People who already know you or completely new people.
00:17:34: This was when I started To test how i sell my offers started to test how I create content in a way that contains storytelling, but not on the way The coaching industry came up with storytelling.
00:17:48: In terms of yesterday i had my salad where My husband suddenly said But real as storylines Netflix double Hollywood low and we then would create different layers Of content which are what some who are made To convert it?
00:18:06: And Some That Are designed to attract.
00:18:11: How would I do that?
00:18:13: Before, I realized that i don't even have to differentiate between conversion content and attraction content.
00:18:21: Because when I add those storylines To the offer...to the brand And start telling a story!
00:18:27: And take people with me on this story Then every single thing I create at every touch point With my brand May it be an email or Instagram post Maybe a podcast episode Can you both things at the same time, attract and convert.
00:18:46: So I stopped spending too much time on hyper-specific messaging because even though when i was good at it It also took time And started to add in a storyline To every single offer ,to every single launch.
00:19:00: This is where things blew up.
00:19:02: It took me five years to make my first million in cash received.
00:19:07: My second I made in just fourteen months.
00:19:13: And the only thing i changed during that time is The things we were talking about, I stopped differentiating and separating conversion content versus attraction content.
00:19:24: I stopped trying to create attraction content at a surface level.
00:19:28: That's not what suits my brain.
00:19:33: and started to create based on that.
00:19:43: And I have great news for you because now, for the first time ever... ...I share the exact steps I go with every single of my seven figure clients when i set up a campaign with them.
00:19:55: Every single step I went or go through When I created a launch campaign for myself and want make it cinematic two offers, which then determine the entire messaging that then converts and attracts at the same time.
00:20:19: All of them I share with you.
00:20:21: inside the Cinematic Launch Playbook You find a link in the show notes.
00:20:25: right now it's only eleven dollars.
00:20:28: So don't wait!
00:20:30: Don't hesitate.
00:20:31: Add a storyline to your brand every single offer.
00:20:34: Go through five elements that are necessary cinematic levels, cinematic content, cinematic launches inside and for your brand.
00:20:47: And unlock the Campaign Brief Builder in which I guide you through different questions that then result from a campaign brief where we have all at once when exactly how these five elements come together during an upcoming launch – which can be used by yourself to share with your team but only click on the link.
00:21:07: If you want people to wait for you, finally sell them.
00:21:11: May it be your hottest audience or brand new people!
